DHL and Suntory Partner to Enhance Decarbonisation in UK Logistics
DHL Supply Chain and Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I have expanded their partnership to promote decarbonisation in the UK. The agreement involves over £1 million investment in low and zero carbon transport solutions, including low-emission fuels and on-site co-packing. DHL estimates an 80% emissions reduction and a potential annual reduction of over 2,300 tonnes of CO2e through these measures.

DHL Supply Chain and Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I have expanded their logistics partnership to enhance decarbonisation in Suntory's UK operations. The agreement includes Suntory becoming a GoGreen Plus customer and involves an investment exceeding £1 million in low and zero carbon transport solutions.
This encompasses the use of hydrotreated vegetable oil and biogas, projected to cut emissions by approximately 80% compared to fossil fuels. DHL estimates that these measures could lead to a Scope 3 reduction of over 2,300 tonnes of CO2e annually, with plans to monitor results for future scaling.
