Emaar Hospitality and Lootah Biofuels Launch Biofuel for Yachts at Dubai Marinas
Emaar Hospitality Group and Lootah Biofuels have launched Sustainable Bio Yacht Fuel at Dubai Marina Yacht Club and Creek Marina Yacht Club, marking one of the first commercial marine biofuel offerings in the Gulf region. This initiative, which uses biodiesel made from used cooking oil from Emaar's properties, aims to provide yacht owners with a lower-carbon fuel alternative and supports the UAE's Net Zero 2050 goals. The project includes dedicated refuelling points and plans for phased deployment to ensure quality and logistics.

Emaar Hospitality Group and Lootah Biofuels have commenced the supply of Sustainable Bio Yacht Fuel at Dubai Marina Yacht Club and Creek Marina Yacht Club. This initiative represents one of the first commercial marine biofuel offerings for leisure craft in the Gulf region, utilizing biodiesel produced from used cooking oil sourced from Emaar's properties.
The project includes dedicated refuelling points, providing yacht owners with a lower-carbon fuel alternative. It aligns with the UAE's Net Zero 2050 goals and enhances Emaar's environmental initiatives.
Lootah Biofuels will oversee the collection and processing of the fuel, with phased deployment planned to ensure quality and logistics. Emaar aims to implement practical sustainability solutions across its marina portfolio, with potential for program expansion based on initial results.
