EnviTec Biogas Forecasts Earnings Decline for 2026, Expects Growth in 2027; Dividend Suspension Proposed
EnviTec Biogas AG predicts subdued earnings for 2026, estimating revenues between EUR 330 million and EUR 370 million. The company anticipates profit growth in 2027, driven by ongoing projects, while a dividend suspension for 2025 has been proposed due to challenging market conditions.
EnviTec Biogas AG forecasts total output for 2026 to be between EUR 330 million and EUR 370 million, with expected earnings before taxes (EBT) ranging from EUR 5 million to EUR 15 million. This decline from the previous year is attributed to the elimination of double counting for GHG quotas under the new GHG Implementation Act in Germany and difficulties in biofuel market placement.
The company reported 2025 sales revenues of EUR 312.6 million, down from EUR 337.7 million, with an EBT of EUR 26.0 million, compared to EUR 44.0 million the previous year. In light of these developments, EnviTec plans to propose a dividend suspension for 2025 at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The shift in project timelines may result in profit deferrals to 2027, indicating potential future growth.
