The Fenasucro & Agrocana fair, one of the world's largest dedicated to bioenergy, will take place from August 12 to 15, 2025, in Sertãozinho, São Paulo, a major sugarcane production hub. The event anticipates generating R$ 13 billion in business transactions, reflecting a 21% increase from its previous edition. Paulo Montabone, president of the fair, highlights the shift from fossil fuels to biocombustibles, particularly biogas, which is produced within sugarcane processing plants. The 31st edition of Fenasucro expects visitors from 60 countries and will showcase cutting-edge technologies and equipment aimed at utilizing renewable energy from biomass sources, primarily sugarcane and corn.

Prominent figures, including Brazilás Vice President Geraldo Alckmin and São Paulo Governor Tarcásio de Freitas, are scheduled to attend. According to the Energy Research Company (EPE), sugarcane derivatives account for over 16% of Brazil's energy matrix, ranking second after oil.
