Fremantle Industrial Action Called Off; COSCO Shipping Enhances CAP Service Capacity

Pending industrial action at Fremantle Ports has been called off following discussions between the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) and Fremantle Ports. COSCO Shipping will enhance its CAP service by deploying the 1,730 TEU X-Press Dhaulagiri, effective January 4, 2026, increasing capacity and frequency across South China, Northern Australia, and Papua New Guinea.
