GE, NRG Energy, and ConocoPhillips Focus on Portfolio Growth After ETV Investment Period

In 2011, GE, NRG Energy, and ConocoPhillips formed Energy Technology Ventures (ETV) to invest in emerging energy technologies. ETV has funded 19 companies over four years in sectors including renewable power, smart grid, energy efficiency, and biofuels, primarily in North America, Europe, and Israel.

With the investment period concluded, ETV will now concentrate on growing its portfolio companies. NRG Energy, ConocoPhillips, and GE Ventures are poised to invest directly in new companies moving forward.
