Gekko Systems Marks 30 Years as a Global Leader in Mining Technology

Gekko Systems, founded in Ballarat 30 years ago by Elizabeth Lewis-Gray and Sandy Gray, has become a global leader in mining technology, now exporting to 50 countries. The company gained recognition for innovations like the InLine Leach Reactor, which significantly improved gold recovery.
Major projects include a $85 million gold processing plant in the Arctic Circle and rapid development of the GeVentor ventilator during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gekko collaborates with institutions like CSIRO and has entered the organic waste sector through Gaia EnviroTech, producing biogas and compost.
