Ghenova has signed a framework agreement with Vertex Bioenergy, enhancing its role as a key engineering partner in energy transition projects. The collaboration includes technical support for operations in strategic locations such as Galicia, Cartagena, and Salamanca.

Ghenova will act as the Property Engineering for Vertex, overseeing project design and construction while ensuring independent technical validation. The partnership focuses on energy efficiency, CO₂ capture, biogas production, and biomass boiler implementation as renewable alternatives for sustainable thermal generation.

Ghenova is also involved in traditional oil & gas engineering, including a refinery project in Angola. The company is engaged in decarbonization initiatives, including efforts to transition ports in Galicia and large-scale international projects in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Ghenova is incorporating artificial intelligence and digitalization in its energy sector operations.
