GPS Renewables Targets ₹3,500 Crore Revenue and 100 CBG Plants by FY28
GPS Renewables, based in Bengaluru, plans to achieve ₹3,500 crore in revenue by FY28, a 3.5x increase, by expanding its compressed biogas operations to 100 plants within three years. The company aims to surpass ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY26 and is currently executing 30-40 CBG plants in partnership with oil marketing companies.
Government initiatives to boost CBG blending from 1% to 5% will support this growth. India's gas demand is projected to rise significantly, supporting the company's plans. The estimated capex for scaling to 100 plants is around $1.2-1.3 billion, funded through a 70:30 debt-equity structure. GPS Renewables anticipates a public listing post-FY28 to capitalize on its growth and improved financial visibility.
