Greenlane and Panasonic Collaborate on Biogas Technology in Brazil
Greenlane Renewables and Panasonic do Brasil have formalized a partnership to manufacture biogas upgrading technology in Brazil. The initiative involves an investment of 8 to 10 million Brazilian Reais, aiming for production by the end of 2026.
Greenlane Renewables has partnered with Panasonic do Brasil to manufacture its Cascade LF landfill gas upgrading technology locally. The investment is projected between 8 million and 10 million Brazilian Reais, with Panasonic responsible for facility modifications and production equipment.
Greenlane will oversee product design and sales, targeting the first system delivery by 2026. The Cascade LF technology aims for up to 99% methane recovery, while a related system, Cascade MS, is designed for biodigester applications.
Brazil is identified as a priority market due to its biofuels infrastructure and potential for a sevenfold increase in biomethane output by 2035. This partnership supports Panasonic's Green Impact initiative and aims to enhance sales growth in the region.
