greenValue GmbH supported BALANCE Erneuerbare Energien GmbH in acquiring a biogas plant portfolio in Germany. This portfolio comprises biogas plants in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, totaling a thermal input capacity of 46 MW.

Technical due diligence was performed to assess operational opportunities and risks. The acquired facilities will undergo technical modernization and currently process renewable feedstocks, with electricity supplied to local grids and heat distributed via district heating networks. One facility features a biogas upgrading plant with a capacity of 1,366 Nm³ of biomethane per hour.
