Grupo Vall Companys Reports Significant CO2 Emission Reduction and Renewable Energy Expansion
Grupo Vall Companys has reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 27.11% since 2020, amounting to 11,591 tons of CO2. The company aims to enhance its sustainability initiatives through renewable energy projects and waste management investments.

Since 2020, Grupo Vall Companys has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 27.11%, equivalent to 11,591 tons of CO2. This reduction aligns with the company's strategic plan set to continue until 2025.
The organization has installed 37.91 MWp of photovoltaic capacity, which covers 59.11% of its energy needs. Upcoming projects include a 5.9 MW wind turbine initiative in Aragón and a €20 million investment in water management.
Additionally, 22% of feedstock is sourced from by-products, and a biogas plant in Alcarràs will process around 120,000 m³ of organic waste annually. Recognition from EcoVadis and the Carbon Disclosure Project highlights its sustainability efforts.
