Hexagon Agility has delivered its 6,000th composite gas distribution cylinder to Processkontroll Green Technology in Sweden, part of a 17-year partnership established in 2009. This collaboration has led to the development of mobile gas solutions in areas with limited gas infrastructure.

The technology has supported bus fleets in Stockholm and Oslo, and enabled industrial users to switch to renewable biomethane. The 6,000th cylinder is for Redo Biosolutions, which has expanded its fleet to about 20 containers for biomethane transport in Norway and Sweden.

Biomethane production in the Nordic region has increased from under 0.5 TWh to over 2.3 TWh since 2009. Hexagon expects to deliver around 1,000 cylinders in the next year due to rising demand.
