Hidex Collaborates with AEL-AMS for Biofuel Method Validation
Hidex is partnering with AEL-AMS to validate its Biofuel Method against the AMS standard. AEL-AMS, Canada's national AMS center, will compare results from both methods to ensure reliability. Since July 2025, research technician Liam Jasperse has been analyzing biocarbon samples. Early results show that measurements from Hidex's ULLA are within ±3% of AMS values, indicating progress towards meeting international biofuel testing standards.

Hidex is working with AEL-AMS to validate its Biofuel Method by comparing it with the AMS standard. AEL-AMS, established in 2014 as Canada's national AMS center, offers high-quality radioisotope measurements and method development.
Hidex's support enabled the hiring of Liam Jasperse as a research technician, who began sample analysis in July 2025. Early findings show that radiocarbon measurements from Hidex's ULLA are within ±3% of AMS values, marking a significant step towards compliance with international biofuel testing standards.
