IFGE Hosts Compressed Biogas Conclave 2026 in Pune with MoU Signing for Bioenergy Collaboration

The Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) organized the 'Compressed Biogas Conclave 2026' at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration in Pune, inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research, Vasantdada Sugar Institute, and IFGE to enhance collaboration in bioenergy and sustainable agriculture.

Gadkari highlighted biogas's role in energy independence and job creation, advocating for improved technologies and practices in the sector. The Conclave addressed operational and technological challenges facing the compressed biogas sector, aiming to optimize efficiency and develop viable revenue models.
