The city has amended the building regulations to allow for taller structures, with maximum heights increasing to 35 meters for buildings and 40 meters for ancillary structures. Mayor Thomas Witkowski noted that several companies are considering setting up in Demmin, which could lead to significant investments not seen in the past 25 years.
