The IOCL biogas plant in Tirumala, inspected by TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, is projected to be operational by May 2026 following its completion in March 2026. The plant will process 40 tonnes of biogas daily, aiming to save TTD around ₹1.52 crore each year through improved waste management.

This initiative will help recycle organic waste and reduce pressure on local dumping sites. Naidu also reviewed facilities at Sudarshan Sadan and interacted with pilgrims regarding their experiences.
