Iowa Approves 33 Grants to Expand Biofuel Infrastructure for E15 at Retailers
The Iowa Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program Board approved 33 grants to enhance biofuel infrastructure at fuel retailers across 25 counties. The funding totals over $2.12 million and aims to increase the availability of E15. Key recipients include LAK LLC, RP Brothers LLC, and Molo Oil Co., among others. Since 2006, the program has invested over $72 million, matched by $280 million from retailers. Iowa mandates E15 sales at most retailers, with over 1,100 currently offering it and more planned by 2026.
