LIQVIS Expands BioLNG Infrastructure to Support Decarbonization in Germany
LIQVIS GmbH offers bioLNG, a low-emission alternative to fossil LNG, independent of global gas price fluctuations. With 15 LNG filling stations and over 200 bioLNG stations in Germany, bioLNG enables significant CO2 savings, especially in heavy-duty transport. LIQVIS, part of the EnviTec Biogas Group, benefits from local feedstocks and its own liquefaction facility in Güstrow, promoting economic efficiency and reduced emissions.

LIQVIS GmbH provides bioLNG, a liquefied form of biomethane, which is less volatile than fossil LNG due to its independence from global gas prices. LIQVIS operates 15 LNG filling stations across Germany, with over 200 bioLNG stations available.
BioLNG offers long ranges up to 1,700 km and quick refueling in about 15 minutes, maintaining prices below EUR 1/kg. The fuel is produced from local feedstocks, reducing transport costs and emissions. LIQVIS, part of EnviTec Biogas, has access to significant bioLNG volumes from nearly 100 biogas plants and its Güstrow liquefaction facility, facilitating decarbonization in heavy-duty transport.
