L'Oréal Selects 13 Startups for $108M L'AcceleratOR Sustainability Program

L'Oréal has selected 13 startups for its L'AcceleratOR program, supported by €100 million ($108 million) over five years, to foster sustainable innovation. The initiative, in partnership with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, aims to develop scalable solutions for decarbonization and circularity.

The selected ventures will undergo a six to nine month pilot readiness phase, gaining access to L'Oréal's resources to test their solutions. Technologies from the cohort include waste transformation and biomethane production. The program seeks to enhance the market readiness of climate and circularity ventures while highlighting the importance of corporate open innovation in sustainability.
