Maas Energy Works and PG&E Commission RNG Facility at Couco Creek Dairy in Turlock, California
NATURAL GASBIOFUELS
Maas Energy Works has commissioned a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at Couco Creek Dairy, Turlock, California, in partnership with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). This facility captures methane from dairy operations and upgrades it to pipeline-quality RNG, aiming to inject approximately 350 MMBtu/day into PG&E's system.
The project is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 54,000 metric tons of CO₂e annually. This is PG&E's eighth RNG interconnection, with seven more planned by 2027, as part of its commitment to a net-zero energy system by 2040.
