MAN Engines Updates E3262 V12 Gas Engine to Meet Global Emission Standards

BIOFUELS

MAN Engines has modernized its E3262 gas engine series for natural gas and biogas, enhancing durability and efficiency to comply with global emission regulations. Since its launch in 2012, over 10,000 units have been installed worldwide, confirming its robust design.

The latest updates include a complete redesign of the turbochargers for improved mechanical and thermal resilience. The new turbocharger features a dry turbine housing that reduces the risk of coolant leaks.

Additional enhancements include new bearings made from a special bronze alloy, improving corrosion resistance and overall engine reliability. The E3262 meets the international nitrogen oxide emission limit of 250 mg without additional treatment, making it suitable for various markets.

It is available in turbocharged and atmospheric versions, adaptable for different operational profiles. The updated series replaces the previous LE202 and LE212 models and is designed to address future market demands while maintaining the reliability needed for maritime and energy generation applications.
