Mega Prime Foods and Charoen Pokphand Foods to Build Zamboanga's First Egg Layering Complex
Mega Prime Foods Inc. partners with Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods to build the Mega CP Layer Complex in Zamboanga City. The facility aims to produce up to 100 million eggs annually, enhancing food security in the Philippines. Utilizing advanced agricultural practices, the complex focuses on sustainability and job creation while reducing reliance on egg imports.

Mega Prime Foods Inc. (MPFI) is collaborating with Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) to establish the Mega CP Layer Complex in Zamboanga City. This world-class egg layering facility will occupy 22 hectares and initially produce 100 million eggs per year, with potential for further expansion.
The project aims to enhance long-term food security and improve nutrition by increasing local egg production. The complex will employ high-tech farming methods and sustainable practices, including biogas technology for renewable energy. It is expected to generate employment and support local economies, reinforcing Zamboanga's role in the agricultural sector.
