Moore Concrete Launches New Mammoth Slurry Store and Ox Fence System to Meet Agricultural Demand
Moore Concrete has introduced its new 'Mammoth' two-million gallon above ground slurry store, which has double the capacity of previous models. The design caters to growing demands in the agriculture, water, and biogas sectors.
The facility features precast units standing 8m high with a 41m diameter base, developed in-house. Additionally, the company plans to release a two-meter high pre-stressed wall panel in 2026, aimed at expediting construction projects for farmers.
Moore Concrete's SUREFOOT™ slatted flooring system has seen increased interest, supported by a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with AFBI and Queen's University, which demonstrated a 4.6% reduction in ammonia emissions per annum when used with dairy herds. Furthermore, demand for timberless fencing systems has risen, leading to the popularity of Moore Concrete's Ox Fence system, which includes durable precast components designed for minimal maintenance.
