Mr Binman Secures Government Funding for Fleet Upgrade
Mr Binman has received government funding to enhance its fleet with compressed natural gas vehicles. This initiative aims to support Ireland's transition to renewable energy in the commercial transport sector.

Mr Binman has secured funding under the Graze vehicle grant scheme, which supports the transition to renewable gas in commercial transport. The grant can provide up to €10,000 per vehicle and covers 40% of the cost difference between diesel and gas-powered heavy goods vehicles.
This funding will enable Mr Binman to upgrade its fleet to lower-emission compressed natural gas vehicles, with operations starting in March 2024. The firm is committed to sustainability through various initiatives, including organic waste conversion to renewable biomethane and improving recycling rates. These efforts are crucial in reducing landfill dependency and promoting a lower-carbon economy in Ireland.
