Nel ASA CEO Håkon Volldal Resigns to Join Elopak
Håkon Volldal has resigned as CEO of Nel ASA to accept a position at Elopak, with a six-month notice period in effect. The transition comes as Nel seeks a new CEO while continuing its focus on electrolytic hydrogen technologies.

Håkon Volldal has announced his resignation as President & CEO of Nel ASA to take on a new role at Elopak. He will remain with Nel for six months to assist in the transition, during which the Board of Directors will search for a successor.
Since July 2022, Volldal has been pivotal in shaping the company's strategy and product development. Despite recent challenges, including an idled factory in Herøya, Nel launched a new pressurized alkaline electrolyser last month, anticipated to drive future orders. The company's strategic priorities will remain unchanged during this leadership transition.
