Đồng Nai Plans 1-1.5% Annual Energy Consumption Reduction by 2030
Đồng Nai City aims to cut energy consumption per GDP unit by 1-1.5% annually until 2030, enhancing energy efficiency and transitioning to electric transport. The initiative, outlined in Plan No. 34/KH-UBND, seeks to bolster national energy security and reduce costs for industries.

By 2030, Đồng Nai City targets a reduction of energy consumption per GDP unit by 1-1.5% annually, as detailed in Plan No. 34/KH-UBND. The strategy includes achieving at least 3% annual electricity savings among major energy users and reducing power losses in transmission systems to 5.8%.
Additionally, 100% of major energy consumers will conduct periodic energy audits. The city aims for at least 50% of public transport to switch to electric vehicles by 2030 and encourages the use of biofuels.
Key industries must enhance energy efficiency, while the Department of Industry and Trade will ensure stable fuel supplies for essential projects. The plan emphasizes integrating electric vehicle charging infrastructure in urban development.
