Nopetro Energy Opens Florida's First Landfill Gas-to-RNG Facility in Vero Beach
Nopetro Energy has officially opened southern Florida's first landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in Vero Beach. The facility captures methane from the Indian River County landfill, purifies it, and injects the RNG into Florida City Gas' natural gas pipeline network. This marks a significant milestone for Nopetro as it vertically integrates its supply chain from production to fueling.

Nopetro Energy has launched southern Florida's first landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas (RNG) production facility in Vero Beach. The facility captures and purifies methane from the Indian River County landfill, injecting the RNG into Florida City Gas' pipeline network.
