Ohio Bill Mandates E15 Biofuel Sales at Turnpike Service Stations
Ohio Representatives Roy Klopfenstein and Josh Williams are introducing legislation to mandate the sale of E15 biofuel at all service stations along the Ohio Turnpike. Currently, E15 is available at only 200 of the state's 5,000 gas stations, despite being a more affordable alternative to traditional gasoline. The bill aims to enhance E15 availability through partnerships with fuel retailers, with installation costs covered by state and federal funding.

The bill requires the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission to partner with fuel retailers to ensure E15 availability, with installation costs to be funded through various state and federal financial sources. The legislation is currently awaiting a number and committee assignment.
