Palnadu District to Enhance Industrial and Horticultural Development
The Andhra Pradesh government plans significant investments in industrial and horticultural sectors in Palnadu. Initiatives include establishing compressed biogas plants and promoting employment through new industries, alongside ongoing welfare programs.

Andhra Pradesh's coalition government is focusing on industrial growth in Palnadu, with plans for two compressed biogas plants to stimulate local development. The government is investing approximately Rs.33,000 crore annually in social security pensions and has allocated over Rs.8,900 crore to farmers under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme.
Welfare measures include providing free LPG cylinders and transportation for women. Criticism was aimed at the previous YSRCP government regarding delays in major projects, including irrigation and capital city development. The commitment to tariff stability in the power sector remains a priority as new pensions and housing benefits are set to be introduced.
