Pertamina Patra Niaga Initiates Livestock Waste Management Program in West Java
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has launched the Mitra Nyaah ka Cai initiative, focusing on sustainable livestock waste management to improve water quality in the Cikapundung watershed. This program supports the development of renewable energy and organic fertilizer production while aligning with Sustainable Development Goals.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional JBB has implemented the Mitra Nyaah ka Cai initiative, aimed at managing livestock waste sustainably in West Java. This program, involving seven farmers and 36 dairy cows, converts approximately 625 kilograms of waste daily into biogas and organic fertilizer to enhance water quality in the Cikapundung watershed.
The initiative includes the provision of biodigester facilities and organic fertilizer production equipment to enhance waste processing. This collaboration supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in clean water, sanitation, and climate action. The initiative may serve as a model for further community engagement and environmental protection efforts in the region.
