Petrobras Chooses Honeywell UOP for Sustainable Aviation Fuel Project in Brazil
Petrobras has selected Honeywell UOP's Ethanol-to-Jet technology for the Replan refinery, aiming to produce 10,000 barrels per day of sustainable aviation fuel. This initiative marks a significant step in Latin America's effort to establish a large-scale SAF production infrastructure.

Petrobras plans to develop a project at its Replan refinery in São Paulo using Honeywell UOP's Ethanol-to-Jet process technology, targeting production of 10,000 barrels per day of sustainable aviation fuel. This will be the first large-scale ETJ initiative in Latin America, utilizing ethanol as a renewable feedstock to enhance SAF production.
