The Port of Sunnyside is set to double its wastewater treatment capacity to 4 million gallons per day, facilitating industrial growth. Additionally, a renewable natural gas facility will convert dairy waste into energy, addressing environmental concerns linked to agricultural operations.
Port officials are also developing over 200 acres of industrial land and constructing a new 5-bay hangar at Sunnyside Airport.
