PT Insight Investment Launches Biogas Facility to Reduce Carbon Emissions in Sukabumi, Indonesia
PT Insight Investment Management has inaugurated a biogas facility utilizing organic kitchen waste from Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) in Sukabumi, West Java. This initiative, alongside a Solar Dryer House, aims to convert waste into clean energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 2.5 tons of CO₂e annually. The project emphasizes community involvement and sustainable energy practices to enhance local welfare and agricultural productivity.

PT Insight Investment Management has launched a biogas facility in Cihurang Village, Sukabumi, utilizing organic kitchen waste from Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). The program aims to convert waste into clean energy, reducing carbon emissions by about 2.5 tons CO₂e per year.
Along with a Solar Dryer House in Babakan Asem, the initiative promotes renewable energy and waste management education within the community. The biogas production reduces reliance on LPG and allows for the creation of liquid and solid fertilizers for sustainable agriculture. The local government supports the project as a means to provide direct benefits to the community.
