QIC's Natural Capital Head Andrew Champion Exits Post
Andrew Champion has left his position as head of natural capital at QIC following a strategic review. This transition reflects QIC's aim to realign its natural capital capabilities within the private equity sector.

QIC has undergone a strategic review resulting in the departure of Andrew Champion, who was appointed head of natural capital in April 2024. Champion's tenure included involvement in investments like the $80 million Kalfresh Bioenergy Facility.
Prior to his role, he held various leadership positions at GM Hotels and Blue Sky Alternative Investments. Concurrently, QIC has promoted Xi Chen and Lindsay Scully to its private debt infrastructure team, enhancing its global infrastructure debt portfolios. This restructuring may affect QIC's investment strategy and market positioning in natural capital and private equity.
