Royal FloraHolland Achieves €5.4 Billion Revenue in 2025 Amid Cost Control Measures
Royal FloraHolland reported a product turnover of €5.4 billion for 2025, reflecting a strategic focus on sustainability and efficiency. This growth, alongside a pre-tax profit of €19 million, underscores the cooperative's resilience in a challenging market environment, making it crucial for industry stakeholders to monitor evolving trends in floriculture and sustainability initiatives.

Royal FloraHolland's product revenue rose to €5.4 billion in 2025, up from €5.3 billion in 2024, marking the second-highest turnover in its history. The increase in revenue was driven by a 3% rise in average flower prices and a 1% increase for plants, despite a 2% decline in sales volume.
The cooperative achieved a pre-tax profit of €19 million, with a net profit of €12 million. Cost control measures led to reduced wage expenses and lower energy costs, contributing to improved operating profit of €19 million.
Royal FloraHolland aims for 100% of traded product revenues to be certified by the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI), achieving 78% by the end of 2025. The cooperative is also constructing the largest heat pump in the Netherlands to enhance sustainability in operations. Continuous focus on cost efficiency and productivity is essential for competitiveness in the upcoming year.
