Rs 6,000 Crore Power Infrastructure Initiative Launched in Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh government is investing Rs 6,000 crore to enhance the electricity network, addressing both rural and urban needs. This initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted power supply while avoiding any increase in electricity tariffs for consumers.

The Andhra Pradesh government is implementing power infrastructure projects worth Rs 6,000 crore to strengthen the electricity supply network. Key developments include the inauguration of a 50 MVA transformer at the 132/33 KV substation in Penugonda and solar rooftop projects in Neggipudi village.
Investments also cover CC roads, drainage systems, and health clinics across various locations. The government plans to provide free solar panels to SC/ST households and financial assistance for BC families under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
