NATURAL GASBIOFUELSBIOPOWER
Seven out of 27 sugar factories in Ukraine are currently operating bioenergy projects, as reported by Ukrtsukor. Facilities for producing bioethanol, biogas, and biomethane have been introduced. Notable projects include the Teofipol Sugar Factory with a capacity of 56 million cubic metres per year and the Globyne complex with 50 million cubic metres per year.
The Gnidavsky Sugar Plant produces 15,000 to 20,000 tonnes of bioethanol annually, while the Yuzhefo-Mykolaiv Biogas Complex generates over 11 million cubic metres of biomethane. Astarta's operations contribute approximately 50-60 million cubic metres of biogas yearly.
