The Stoltenberg family's plans for a biogas plant in Bordesholm remain stalled due to the absence of essential approvals. The construction and planning committee failed to discuss the project, with a special session being considered before March 17 to expedite the process. The facility, projected to cost over ten million euros, aims to convert manure into biofuel for heavy-duty vehicles. A public consultation would follow if the project receives approval, with construction potentially starting in autumn 2027.

The Stoltenberg family's biogas plant project in Bordesholm has not progressed as the construction and planning committee did not reach a decision. The committee's meeting was canceled due to the illness of the responsible planner.
Mayor Ronald Büssow is considering a special session before March 17 to avoid further delays. The facility, estimated to cost over ten million euros, intends to convert manure into biofuel. The CDU party opposes the project, demanding information on manure supply contracts.
A public consultation will occur if the community approves the plans on March 17, with construction potentially beginning in autumn 2027. The biogas cooperative has 200 members.
