Veolia and White Martins have initiated a joint venture to commercialize biometano, leveraging biogas from the São Paulo Eco Park, inaugurated in 2024. The approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) allows the partnership to advance, pending authorization from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
This collaboration integrates waste management and energy commercialization, marking a significant move towards vertical integration in the sector. The project aims to reduce operational barriers and enhance biometano's role in energy-intensive applications.
