Neale Lunderville will leave his position as President and CEO of Vermont Gas Systems (VGS) at the end of 2026 after more than six years. The VGS Board of Directors will begin a search for his successor.

Lunderville joined VGS in 2020 and has overseen significant growth in energy efficiency programs and renewable natural gas initiatives, including partnerships to launch two RNG digesters. VGS plans to begin its first geothermal project and has introduced hybrid solutions for commercial clients.

The company aims to maintain its leadership in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. A successor is expected to be named in summer 2026, with Lunderville remaining to ensure a smooth transition.
