ViGo Bioenergy Acquires Drive Systems to Become Belgium's Largest LNG Provider
ViGo Bioenergy has acquired Drive Systems, Belgium's leading independent LNG station network, establishing ViGo as the largest LNG provider for heavy transport in the country, with a projected 30% market share. Drive Systems operates five LNG stations in Flanders, enhancing access to key transport routes in Antwerp and surrounding areas.
Philippe Desrumaux, founder of Drive Systems, will join ViGo as Head of Benelux. The combined network will offer bioLNG, supporting customers' decarbonisation efforts. This acquisition strengthens ViGo's presence across Germany, the UK, and Benelux, providing customers with improved route flexibility and access to sustainable fuel options. ViGo previously expanded its network in 2024 with the acquisition of PitPoint LNG and Reneron for biomethane production in Lithuania and Latvia.
