Viridi Energy Secures Structured Equity Investment from HASI for Marathon RNG Project
Viridi Energy has closed a structured equity investment from HASI to support its Marathon landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas project. This marks the third investment from HASI into Viridi, highlighting their strategic partnership. The Marathon facility is expected to produce renewable natural gas sufficient to power around 5,800 homes annually and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 18,400 tons each year. The investment will enhance capital availability for Viridi's ongoing project developments.

Viridi Energy has successfully closed a structured equity investment from HASI to advance its Marathon landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas project. This investment is the third collaboration between the two companies.
The Marathon facility is designed to convert landfill gas into renewable natural gas, aiming to generate enough energy to power about 5,800 homes annually and reduce carbon emissions by 18,400 tons each year. The funding from HASI will provide liquidity and accelerate capital for further development of Viridi's renewable energy projects sourced from various organic waste streams across North America. Financial advisory was provided by CRC, with Sidley Austin LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP serving as legal counsel.
