Viridi Energy has successfully sold its first Investment Tax Credits (ITCs) under Section 48 related to its landfill gas-to-renewable natural gas (RNG) project at Magnolia Landfill in Baldwin County, Alabama. This sale enables Viridi to monetize tax credits to enhance investment in renewable energy infrastructure.

The proceeds will support capturing landfill methane, upgrading it to pipeline-quality RNG, and providing economic and environmental benefits to local communities, while supplying low-carbon fuel for the U.S. transportation market.
