In 2026, Volvo do Brasil launched the option of B100 biofuel for its B320R urban chassis. The company is also qualified in Pro-Transport, a federal program that offers low-interest financing for urban bus purchases.

The B100 biofuel is expected to decrease CO2 emissions by up to 90%, depending on the fuel production chain. Volvo emphasizes that this technology is already established in trucks and can provide environmental benefits along with technical feasibility.
