Zenith Energy to Acquire Biogas Plant in Italy for Up to €1.6 Million
Zenith Energy Ltd has signed a binding Letter of Intent to purchase a biogas development company in Italy for up to €1.6 million. This acquisition expands Zenith's renewable energy portfolio and is projected to generate significant annual revenue and EBITDA once operational.

Zenith Energy Ltd has agreed to acquire a 100% stake in an Italian biogas development firm for a maximum purchase price of €1.6 million, pending due diligence. The biogas facility, fully permitted, is expected to produce approximately 3 million cubic meters of methane annually, generating about €5 million in annual revenue and an estimated EBITDA of €2.5 million at full capacity.
The project has secured a long-term raw material supply contract with a regional authority, consisting of 50% municipal and 50% agro-industrial waste. Financing for the acquisition and project development will be through non-dilutive green project financing, aimed for completion by Q3 2026, with construction starting immediately afterward and operations expected by Q3 2027. This acquisition marks Zenith's entry into the biogas sector, complementing its existing solar development activities in Italy.
